Social Media and Content Creation Lead

We are seeking a creative and digitally savvy Social Media and Content Creation Lead to shape the public voice of CMKL University across its official channels. This position is responsible for planning, producing, and publishing content that communicates the University's identity, academic strengths, student life, and research impact to prospective students, current students, alumni, partners, and the broader public. The Social Media and Content Creation Lead will work closely with the Marketing, Admissions, and Academic teams to translate institutional priorities into compelling stories across the CMKL University website, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain a unified content calendar aligned with academic milestones,

admissions cycles, recruitment campaigns, and major University events.

- Write, edit, and proofread copy in both Thai and English for the CMKL University

website, social media posts, news articles, press materials, and recruitment collateral.

- Plan, shoot, and edit photography and short-form video covering campus life, student

activities, classes, research, and University events.

- Produce activity recaps, student spotlights, faculty features, alumni stories, and event

highlights tailored to each platform.

- Design graphics and motion assets suitable for the website, Facebook, Instagram,

LinkedIn, and TikTok, maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.

- Schedule, publish, and monitor content across the CMKL University website and all

official social media channels, and keep the News, Events, and feature sections of the

website current.

- Track engagement, reach, and web traffic, and produce monthly performance reports

with actionable insights.

- Respond to comments, direct messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional

manner, escalating sensitive matters to relevant teams when necessary.

- Attend University events, school visits, open houses, and external activities to capture

live content and produce post-event recaps.

- Collaborate with the Admissions team on recruitment campaigns, including support

for open houses, education fairs, and summer programs.

- Coordinate with faculty, students, and student organizations to source authentic

content, and liaise with the IT or web development team on website updates.

- Maintain an organized archive of photos, videos, and finished assets, and brief

freelance creatives when projects exceed internal capacity.

- Stay current with platform updates and emerging formats, and conduct periodic

benchmarking against peer institutions.

- Provide additional services to the University as requested by University executives,

including engagement in university-appointed committees and activities organized by

the University.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or a

related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong portfolios from new

graduates will also be considered.

- Demonstrated proficiency in producing copy, photography, short-form video, and

graphic design.

- Working knowledge of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or CapCut,

and platform analytics including Meta Business Suite.

- Basic familiarity with web content management systems (such as WordPress) and

web publishing fundamentals.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English, with the

ability to adapt tone for different audiences.

- Strong visual sensibility and awareness of current digital trends and platform

algorithms.

- Organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects in parallel.

- Positive, collaborative attitude, with willingness to work occasional evenings or

weekends during major events.
