

CMKL University at Thailand Security Dialogue 2026
Thailand Security Dialogue 2026 (TSD 2026) brought together leaders, academics, policymakers, and security experts from Thailand and around the world to exchange perspectives on the future of defence and security under the theme “Defence and Security in an Era of Uncertainty.”
Held from 16–18 August 2026 at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok, the dialogue explored some of today’s most pressing security challenges, from shifting global and regional dynamics to the growing role of AI, robotics, and emerging technologies in defence and security.
CMKL University was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supan Tungjitkusolmun (President of CMKL University), Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai and Prof. Dr. Suchatvee Suwansawat (Chairman of the CMKL University Council).
Key discussions covered the future of the defence industry, sustainable military capabilities, strategic resilience, and ways to strengthen national and regional preparedness in an increasingly uncertain world. The forum featured perspectives from experts across Thailand, India, Malaysia, Germany, Indonesia, and other countries.
CMKL University’s participation reflects its commitment to connecting AI, advanced technology, research, and education with real-world challenges, while contributing to conversations that shape how technology can support a more resilient future.


Four Artificial Intelligence and Computer Engineering students will spend nearly three months at Fukuoka Institute of Technology, expanding their research experience through CMKL’s academic collaboration in Japan.
